John Paul Basile is a global strategic advisor with more than 25 years of unique and wide-ranging experience in Sports & Entertainment.
Prior to launching FSE, John Paul worked at the National Basketball Association (NBA), where he led international strategic programs and initiatives - such as NBA Global Games, NBA 3X and Jr. NBA - to accelerate development of the league and the sport of basketball across more than 30 markets. During that period, NBA International revenue nearly doubled while margins expanded.
Before jumping to sports, John Paul held multiple positions with Feld Entertainment, leading producers of live, touring family entertainment. After cutting his teeth promoting shows in the US, John Paul moved to Hong Kong - and later Australia - expanding existing markets and developing new ones across Australasia. He returned to New York City to manage the Northeast US & Canada, Feld's most profitable and demanding region. John Paul also held a leadership position at the now-defunct Sports Museum of America, a start-up interactive and experiential sports museum in lower Manhattan.
John Paul holds a law degree from American University and graduated from Wharton at the University of Pennsylvania. He sits on the Advisory Council for American University’s Masters in Sports Analytics and Management.
John Paul lives in Los Angeles, and is a dedicated and proud father of his two very precocious daughters.
Kamini Sharma is a senior sport and media executive with global expertise in building brands, platforms, programs and partnerships.
Kamini joined FSE from UFC, where she was VP, Global Marketing and led brand marketing, television / pay-per-view and social media across 5 international offices.
Kamini previously served as Director of Marketing for ESPN (EMEA) based in London. In that role, she was responsible for the growth of ESPN’s television brands, directing over 50 channel launches in more than 30 countries to grow ESPN’s reach from 250K to 25M households. Kamini also managed international rights-holder relationships with the NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB, NCAA, NASCAR, European football, and tennis during her tenure.
Prior to ESPN, Kamini worked for the National Hockey League (NHL) as Director of International Marketing. She oversaw all international marketing activity and led strategic planning and execution for key international initiatives, such as the 2004 World Cup of Hockey and 2002 Winter Olympic Games.
Kamini has a law degree from American University’s Washington College of Law and graduated from Ithaca College.
